1). option 2 and 3- Collin may be unfamiliar with technology so I would offer to show him how to use the main features of the app and tell him to explore the rest at home, if he is still struggling these can be looked at the next appointment.
2). option 3- I would show my understanding that he is keen to get back to cycling but I would make him aware that it needs to be done in a safe manner. I could help him arrange an appointment to speak to his consultant to get advice on how and when to start again.
3). option1- I would try to ease Collins mind about having a stroke as he can’t live in fear. I would signpost him to information such as FAST and the NHS website. As he lives alone he may want to enquire about a personal alarm to ease his anxiety.
