1) option 1 is that it must be difficult for Sarah to be away from her baby. I also understand that being separated from her baby can create new issues such as postal depression. The role of a nurse is to provide holistic care, meeting the patient’s needs to facilitate a speedy recovery.

2) option 2, I choose this because we have to support the patient in our care with their health and well-being, including her mental health state. Avoid her having anxiety
and post-natal depression.

3) option 2, it is in Sarah’s best interest to remain in the hospital for a full recovery and facilitate more contact with her baby for bonding.
