I agree with Zara, his BP is quite low which raises some concerns but may be due to the 5 litres of fluid that has been aspirated. I would focus on getting his BP up so he is stable, check catheter and use a fluid balance chart to monitor intake and output, discuss with him if it was ok to inform his wife of what is happening.
