Agree with Becky here, re: recognising individuality – whether that be qualities or challenges is vital, just because the autistic diagnoses exists doesnt mean that everyone under that umbrella is the same. Applying routine or structure to the individuals day allows to many of the challenges with unfamiliar or unexpected situations or surroundings, to be better navigated.
