Liz you are absolutely right because I feel, as though a lot of people’s diagnosis are missed in early childhood due to autism being classed as someone merely misbehaving without trying to establish the triggers and causes of this. By the time they are adults they would have missed a lot of opportunities for them to get help and support to help with their development or issues. From my experience working with children on the spectrum I have seen the vast improvements in behavior or development if early intervention is given, it requires patients, however the results are very rewarding.
